My Customer Service Experiences

It could be the Americanisation of our retail or the downside of smooth, mass cultural integration that is to blame (or non of theses!) but it as a society I am finding that we are not as polite as we used to be.

This was too much, so I demanded that he explained to me what was going on. Why was I seeing an anaesthetist when I hadn’t even seen a surgeon? Why can nobody tell me anything?

Enter stage left (field left) grumpy old women and her yapping terrier dog.

The field we are in is deserted and about 15 acres squared. Yet G.O.W. (grumpy old women) decided to walk to with in 15 feet of us before releasing her snippy little dog which proceeds to chase around with my kids for about 10 minutes as they excitedly fired and collected spent rockets.

This meal was cooked by a real chef, someone with a passion for how food should taste and look and it showed. The service was swift and pleasant and the atmosphere (even with my brood) was great.

I am not exaggerating when I say that this was the tastiest, most succulent, delicious burger that I have ever tasted. It was amazing! I found myself squinting and going MMmmm after every bite.

My email inbox is inundated on a daily basis with businesses opportunities that will make me rich. Adverts like ‘ I make £7,000 a month posting ad’s for Google.’ What a load of tosh! If you make that much, why are you telling me and million other people about it? They must think that we [...]

I ordered the trophies and ribbons and emailed the engraving. Only five days later they arrived… and they were excellent. Very high quality, all in their own individual little boxes and engraved brilliantly. The boys and girls were blown away!

We ended up with a sour faced woman who seemed to have a master’s degree in dirty looks. She put this particular skill to use when my wife politely asked her if she could fill up the conveyer before she started ringing through the items. The women literally sneered at her, looked her up and down, shrugged and said if you must… What all that about?
